Ordering
How do I place an order?
Start by requesting a free quote. Tell us your box style, dimensions, quantity, and any design requirements. Our team will get back to you within one business day with pricing. Once you approve the quote, we move into design and proof.
What happens after I submit a quote?
A member of our team reviews your specifications and sends you a detailed quote, usually within one business day. Once you agree on the details and make your payment, we create a 2D and 3D digital proof of your box. Production only begins after you approve the proof in writing.
How long does it take to get a proof?
We typically send your digital proof within 2–3 business days of receiving your confirmed order and artwork. If you need design assistance, our in-house team will work with you to finalise the artwork first.
How many rounds of revisions do I get on my proof?
We work with you until the proof is right. There is no hard limit on revision rounds. That said, most orders are approved within one or two rounds. Any major structural changes after proof approval may affect lead times.
Can I change my design after approving the proof?
Once you approve the proof in writing, production begins immediately. Approval is final. No changes can be made after this point. We send you a 2D flat proof and a 3D digital mockup before every order precisely so there are no surprises. Review every detail carefully: dimensions, colours, text, and finish. If something is not right on the proof, tell us before you approve it.
Can I order box styles not shown on the website?
Yes. Our website shows a selection of popular styles but it is not exhaustive. If you need a specific box structure that is not listed, get in touch and we will confirm whether we can produce it.
Pricing & Minimums
What is the minimum order quantity?
Our minimum order is 100 boxes per style. We work with brands at all stages, covering everyone from early-run startups to established businesses placing large orders.
Do prices go down for larger orders?
Yes. Unit pricing decreases as quantity increases. The more you order, the lower your cost per box. Your quote will show the unit price at your requested quantity. If you want to compare pricing across quantities, just ask and we will include a volume breakdown.
Are there die charges, plate charges, or hidden fees?
None. We do not charge die charges, plate charges, or setup fees. The price quoted is the price you pay. Shipping to the USA, UK, and Canada is included.
How is the price of a custom box calculated?
Pricing depends on box dimensions, material weight (12pt to 24pt), printing coverage, any finishing options (matte, gloss, spot UV, foil stamping), and quantity. Rush orders carry a small additional fee. There are no surprises beyond what is in your quote.
Do you offer price matching?
If you have a lower quote for the same specifications from another supplier, share it with us. We will review it and do our best to match or beat it.
Design & Artwork
Is design assistance free?
Yes. Our in-house design team is available to help with your artwork at no charge. Whether you need a full design from scratch or just want us to adapt your existing brand assets to the box layout, we handle it as part of your order.
What file formats do you accept?
We work with PSD and PDF files. Files must be submitted at a minimum of 300 DPI for print-quality output. If you are submitting via a dieline template, make sure all fonts are embedded and colours are set to CMYK.
Can I get a dieline template before sending artwork?
Yes. Contact us with your box dimensions and we will send you the appropriate dieline template. Most designers prefer to work from the template before creating final artwork.
What resolution should my artwork be?
Minimum 300 DPI at the final print size. Lower resolution files will result in blurry or pixelated print output. If you are unsure, our team will check your file before production and flag any issues.
Can I get a 3D digital proof before production?
Yes, every order includes a 2D flat proof and a 3D digital mockup so you can see exactly how your box will look assembled before we print a single unit.
Can I print on both the inside and outside of the box?
Yes. Inside and outside printing is available. Just specify this at the quote stage so it is factored into your pricing.
Do you offer Pantone / PMS colour matching?
Yes. We offer both CMYK (standard) and Pantone Matching System (PMS) colour printing. CMYK is the default and suits most designs well. PMS is recommended when you have specific brand colours that need to be reproduced exactly. This is especially true for logos and brand identity work. Pantone printing is available as a premium option; let us know at the quote stage.
Materials & Finishing
What materials do you use?
We work with 12pt, 16pt, 18pt, and 24pt stock in Kraft, cardboard, corrugated, and rigid board. The right material depends on your product weight, box style, and any premium finish you want to apply. Our team will recommend the best option for your requirements.
What printing methods do you use?
We use digital, offset, and screen printing depending on the order specification. Offset printing delivers the sharpest results at higher quantities. Digital printing is well-suited to lower runs and designs with detailed gradients.
What finishing options are available?
We offer matte lamination, gloss lamination, spot UV (selective high-gloss areas), hot foil stamping, embossing, and debossing. These finishes can be combined. Matte lamination combined with spot UV on a logo, for example, creates a strong premium effect. Ask about finishing at the quote stage.
What is the difference between matte and gloss?
Gloss lamination makes colours appear more vibrant and saturated, catching light and giving a polished, high-contrast look. Matte lamination has a flat, softer finish that reads as more understated and premium. Neither is universally better; it depends on your brand aesthetic.
How do I measure my box dimensions correctly?
Measure your product at its longest, widest, and tallest points. Add a small clearance on each side (typically 3–5mm) to ensure the product sits comfortably inside without being too loose. If you are unsure, send us your product dimensions and we will recommend the right box size.
Are your packaging materials eco-friendly?
Yes. We use recyclable and biodegradable materials across our range. All inks are non-toxic. Eco-friendly material options are available on request. If sustainability matters to your brand, mention it at the quote stage.
Shipping & Delivery
What is the standard lead time?
Our standard lead time is 8 to 10 business days from the date your proof is approved. That timer starts on proof approval, not when you place the order.
Do you offer rush delivery?
Yes. Rush orders are produced and delivered in 6 to 8 business days for a small additional fee. Mention your deadline when you request a quote and we will confirm whether the rush timeline is achievable for your order. Rush is not always possible for very large orders or complex finishing options. We will tell you upfront if it is not.
Where do you ship, and what is the cost?
Shipping is free to the USA, UK, and Canada. Orders to Australia and other international destinations are available at cost. Confirm shipping cost at the quote stage. All pricing includes customs clearance and import duties, so there are no surprise charges on delivery.
Will my order go through customs? Are there import duties I need to pay?
No additional charges. Our pricing is all-in. It includes customs clearance and any applicable tariffs. Your order arrives at your door with no additional fees.
How are boxes packed and shipped?
All orders ship flat-packed and pre-assembled. Boxes arrive ready to use straight out of the carton. We produce in Pakistan and ship direct to your delivery address. Tracking information is sent once your order leaves our facility.
What do I do if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us within 48 to 72 hours of delivery with clear photos or video of the issue, including images of the outer cartons, inner products, and the batch number. Original packaging must be retained. If the order is confirmed to be incorrect or defective on our end, we will issue a full refund. Claims submitted after the 48 to 72 hour window cannot be accepted, so please inspect your order promptly on arrival.
Samples
Can I get a physical sample before placing a full order?
Yes. Physical samples are available for a nominal fee. For large orders we strongly recommend a physical sample before going into full production. It lets you check the material weight, finish, and assembly in person. Digital proofs come with every order at no extra cost.
Reorders
Can I reorder the same design in the future?
Yes. All approved dielines, print files, and production artwork are stored in our system after your order is complete. When you are ready to reorder, simply contact us and reference your previous order. No need to resubmit artwork unless you want changes. Your files are kept confidential and will never be shared or reused for other clients.
Can I order different box sizes with the same artwork in one order?
Yes, subject to minimum quantities per style (100 boxes per style). This is a common approach for brands with a product range. Mention it at the quote stage so we can plan accordingly.
Payment
When do I pay?
Payment is required before production begins. We require either full payment (100%) or a minimum deposit of 70% upfront on all custom orders. The balance is due before dispatch. Production does not start until payment is confirmed.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, and PayPal.
Can I cancel my order?
Cancellations are not accepted once production has started. Custom printed packaging is made to your exact specifications and cannot be restocked or resold. If you need to discuss a cancellation before production begins, contact us immediately at sales@theinnovativepackaging.com.
Specialist Packaging
Do you offer child-resistant packaging?
Yes. Child-resistant (CR) packaging is available on request, but it is not standard on all box styles. Specify this at the quote stage. Options include push-and-lock rigid boxes, slide boxes with locking tabs, and CR folding cartons with tear-and-relock features.
Can you produce packaging that meets US CBD/hemp labeling requirements?
Yes. We can produce packaging designed to meet US CBD and hemp labeling requirements, including panel layouts, required warnings, and print specifications. That said, final regulatory compliance is your responsibility as the brand. CBD packaging regulations vary by state and product category, and the FDA's guidance in this area is still evolving. We print exactly what you approve.
Can you print Nutrition Facts or Supplement Facts panels?
Yes. We print Nutrition Facts and Supplement Facts panels to your exact specifications. We print what you approve. Content accuracy and regulatory compliance for your product are your responsibility.
Agencies & Resellers
Do you offer pricing for agencies ordering on behalf of multiple clients?
Yes. We offer structured partner pricing for agencies and resellers with recurring volume. Rates are tiered based on your consolidated order volume over time. Contact us at sales@theinnovativepackaging.com to discuss a partnership.
Quality & Trust
How do you ensure quality before shipping?
Before production goes to full run, you approve a digital proof. For larger orders, physical samples are available. Our production team conducts a pre-shipment inspection and we send you tracking once the order leaves our facility.

We are registered in Delaware, USA (651 North Broad St, Suite 206, Middletown, DE 19709) and produce in Pakistan. All orders ship direct to your address. There are no import fees charged to you on delivery.
