Showcase Structures We Build
These are structures built for presentation and carry rather than for storage. Auto-lock cap boxes give a fast-closing top with a locking cap, so the box stays shut in handling and opens cleanly at the point of use. Five-panel hanger boxes carry a reinforced tab that lets the pack hang on a peg rail while keeping a full-width front panel for the design. Four-corner tray tuck-top boxes ship closed and open into a tray, so the product presents itself. Paper briefcase boxes add a folded handle and a case-style opening, for sample kits, promotional packs and anything a customer carries away by hand.
Finishes That Do the Showcase Work
Presentation structures earn their cost through what the customer sees and feels first. Soft-touch lamination is the finish most often described as premium in the hand, with foil or spot UV on the logo so the matte ground makes the detail read as deliberate. Embossing adds a tactile element that photographs well under directional light, which matters when much of the discovery happens on a screen.
Interior printing is the underused option here and it costs nothing extra. On a structure that opens into a tray or a case, the inside face is a large surface the customer looks at for as long as they look at the outside. Our materials and printing page sets out the finishing range.
Sizing for Hanging and Carrying
Two structural details in this family are set by the fixture rather than the product. A hanger tab has to be reinforced to carry the pack's weight without tearing through, and peg spacing, rail depth and whether the pack hangs face-on or edge-on all change the panel layout. Tell us the fixture type before the dieline is drawn - a hanger added afterwards rarely sits where the artwork expects it.
A carry handle has the same requirement in a different direction: the load runs through the fold, so the panel around it needs enough material and the right grain direction to resist tearing. Give us the filled weight, not the product weight.
Choosing a Showcase Format
Start from how the product is encountered. If it hangs in a store, a five-panel hanger keeps the front panel intact while adding the tab. If it sits on a shelf or a counter and should sell itself, a tray tuck-top that opens into a display does more work than any printed panel. If it is handed to someone - a sample kit, a press pack, an event giveaway - a briefcase structure with a handle is the format people keep.
Auto-lock caps suit anything that is opened and closed repeatedly, or filled quickly, since the cap closes in one motion rather than needing a tuck.
Budget usually decides the rest. These structures cost more per unit than a plain carton, and they are worth it when the box is kept, photographed, or handed over in person - situations where the packaging is doing work after the sale. Where a pack is opened once and discarded, the same money almost always goes further in stock weight and a finish the customer feels, rather than in a more elaborate structure they will barely register.
Where These Structures Are Used
Showcase formats are common in beauty and personal care sample kits, promotional and press packs, trade show giveaways, accessories sold on peg rails, and premium retail products where the packaging is expected to be kept. They also serve corporate and event work, where the box carries someone else's branding and has to look finished at a few hundred units.
For displays that hold multiple facings at the point of sale rather than presenting a single product, see our display boxes range.
Ordering Short Runs
You can order from 100 units per style with nothing charged for tooling, which is what makes a few hundred event or press packs practical rather than a volume commitment. Volume pricing applies from 500 units. Lead time is 10-15 business days from the moment you approve the proof, or 8-10 if you need it rushed for an event date, and delivery anywhere in the USA is free.
To quote, send the product dimensions, the filled weight if the pack has a handle, and the fixture type if it hangs. Hanger tabs and carry handles both take load through a fold, so they are dimensioned from the filled weight rather than the product alone, and getting that number right is what stops a tab tearing on the first customer who lifts it.
Why Choose Our Showcase Exhibit
Premium First Impression
Showcase structures use windowed panels, open-face designs, and rigid construction to put the product itself front and center, ideal for premium and gift-oriented SKUs.
Trade Show and Retail Ready
These box styles are engineered for display environments where the packaging needs to hold up over extended periods on shelf or exhibit floor.
Drives Perceived Value
Premium showcase packaging increases the perceived value of the product inside, supporting higher retail price points and reducing resistance at purchase.
